### 2019 Prom Shop
Mrs. Worthington and her students were a huge help loaning us the partitions for dressing room as well as help with set up and clean up.
Our students also helped us set up on Friday in record time; including carrying all those dresses across campus!
There were many teachers and staff who helped the ladies find dresses, figure out alterations, who encouraged the girls during the shopping time, broke down racks and hauled stuff back to my car! You all are a treasure. Thank you for your support of this event. Eighteen girls getting dresses doesn’t seem like a lot but to me it’s huge. I know that we provided something for some ladies who truly couldn’t have afforded it and it was in an environment that made them feel special and cared for.
We still have dresses available and tried to make them easily accessible by leaving them hanging in the building. If you know of a student needing a dress please have them see Coach Copen or Coach Fonville before school, during lunch or after school to set up a time.
Forever a proud Cougar!

The event was a huge success with smiles all around and 18 young ladies saying “yes to their dress.” We had two sponsors of the event this year that brought the Prom Shop up another level.
Kristi Gayle, a WHHS parent and small business owner came and set up her Paparazzi Jewelry Shop for the ladies to shop from. Every young lady went home with jewelry to complete her dress, free of charge!
Martinizing Dry Cleaners in Benbrook on 377 is also providing dry cleaning for each dress that was chosen tonight. They are doing this free of charge! If you need a good dry cleaner, I highly recommend them, it’s under new ownership and we have been very happy customers. They offer an Educators Discount, as well as free delivery and pick up service.
I want to thank everyone who helped pull this event off because it really was a team effort for WHHS.
