Mrs. Edge discovered that she wanted to teach after her own children began their education. After spending seventeen years at home with her boys, she began college to make her dream a reality. After substituting for four years and completing her certification, Mrs. Edge found her home at WHHS. At the end of her first year at WHHS, her husband, Gary, retired from the Marine Corps and their plans to move to NC quickly changed so that her teaching here could continue.
