Coach Rieder has been teaching since January 2009 and coaching since 2011. Prior to teaching, he worked in the computer software consulting industry for 20 years.
Coach Rieder and his wife, Patti, have been married since 1984. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Natalie, and a son, Bobby. He became a first time grandparent in February, 2019.
He and his wife love to travel, which includes visiting their son in Colorado a couple of times a year and their families in Wisconsin. Being from Wisconsin, he is an avid Packer fan and has been known to wave the Packer flag in school after the Packers win over the Cowboys.
Coach Rieder enjoys following most sports and spends a great deal of his spare time playing golf and tending to his yard. Another one of his hobbies is volunteering as a walking scorer/standard bearer at PGA and LPGA Tour events in Fort Worth and Wisconsin.
