Softball 9-3, District Play--Loses Playoff Game
The Lady Cougar Softball season has come to a sad ending. The girls lost 17-3. It sounds worse than it was. We played a great 5 inning and then.... Nevermind.. Let’s focus on some positives...

Sara Baker was 2-2 with her first out of the park homerun!! It was beautiful! She is holding her ball in the picture. Lexi Zabala was 1-2 as well. We lose some GREAT SENIORS this season. They will be missed!
It has been a weather crazy season, but these girls have given their all. I am so proud of them and thankful to be their coach. They have improved every season. Next year we have an amazing group of returning players!
I want to thank everyone that came out to support us tonight and that have been with us all season! The Cougar Pride Foundation has been amazing and helped us too! Western Hills is a great place to be! Cougar Pride!!

Senior night was an exciting night. Sometimes more exciting than it should of been. Your Lady Cougars held it together and defeated Trimble Tech 11-7. We finished district in 2nd place! Thank you to everyone that came out tonight to support us!! Playoff game will be Thursday night, 7:30 @ Haltom High School against Richland! Come on out and support our girls! We will be the home team, so let's get a home team crowd out there! Cougar Pride!!!

The Lady Cougars lost 11-1 against Arlington Heights. Not the outcome we hoped for, but we will dust ourselves off and get ready for Friday against Tech. Bright spot of the night, Cynthia Juarez led off the game with her first out of the park homerun!! Congratulate her if you get the chance. Not sure if that pitcher has ever given up a dinger. Come out and see us Friday against Tech at 6pm here.

The Lady Cougars play Arlington Heights tonight at Heights. JV plays at 6 and Varsity at 7:30. Our last district game is Friday here against Trimble Tech. We will only have a Varsity game starting at 6:00. It is also Senior Night. We will recognize the girls after the game. Please come out and root the girls on to a strong district finish!!

Lady Cougars are 8-2 in district with a 15-0 victory tonight against North Side. Becca Lindamood gave up 1 hit while striking out 11 in 4 innings. Offensively the team was led by Becca Lindamood with 2 doubles, Kaylee Chiessa with a double, Tysi Davis with a double and Lexi Zavala with a triple.

After a very late night, your Lady Cougars fell a little short last night against South Hills. The final score was 11-12. We will bounce back!! We are currently still in 2nd place. We play North Side at home Friday (4/13). Please come out and support the girls!

The Lady Cougars picked up another victory Friday against O.D.Wyatt. The girls are now 7-1 in district play. Tuesday's game against South Hills is a big game. We play at South Hills, the more fans and support we have the better! Please consider coming to the game and cheering on the girls!! Varsity is scheduled to play at 7:30.

Your Lady Cougars are 6-1 in district after an 18-0 victory over the Southwest Raiders!! It was a great team performance!! Lots of hits and aggressive baserunning! The Cougars next game is Friday @ home against O.D. Wyatt. Please come out and support the girls!!

Lady Cougars are 5-1 in district play. It was a long fought battle with Trimble Tech, but the girls came through in the end with an 11-8 victory. Next game will be Tuesday, April 3 at Southwest. Cougar Pride!!

Your Lady Cougars are 4-0 in district play!! Tuesday, March 20, the girls were led offensively and defensively by Becca Lindamood! Becca was 2-4 on the night with a double and a GRAND SLAM!!! She also pitched a no hitter as we defeated Northside 15-0 in 5 innings! Check out the video on the Softball Athletic Page.
