Your Western Hills Cougars had their second meet at Saginaw High School last night and dominated.  

Arianna Castle took 1st place in her weight class with a Squat of 175 pounds, a 105 pound Bench, and a 150 pound Deadlift with a total of 430 pounds

Catti Rock took first place in her weight Class and won best overall lifter with a 1030 total, squatting 420 pounds, Benching 225 pounds and deadlifting 385.  This auto qualified Catti for Regionals for the fourth year in a row.

The cougar girls will compete next at Boswell in two weeks.

Boys and Girls powerlifting had 6 boys and 1 girl make it to regionals. At regionals in the boys division, we had 2 medal and our girl, took 2nd place and qualified for state. We currently hold the record for Boys in Bench (550) Squat (850) and overall Deadlift with the girls (435).
