Cougar Football Newsletter Vol. 1

In the off-season, this will be a monthly newletter.  In the in-season, we will turn it into a weekly newsletter highlighting the weekly game.   We will spotlight a college each week to help our athletes see some of the different colleges in Texas.

JV/Freshman

On Wednesday, October 16th, the JV/Freshman football team defeated the Northside Steers 32 - 2. The game was never in doubt with a dominating performance by the mighty young cougars. The JV/Freshman team has a 4 - 3 overall record. Their next game is at WHHS next Thursday vs Lake Worth.

Overall Passing rate:  93% passing rate for all Football levels  

45 Varsity players  - 100% passing Rate  -  In addition, 3 players that started the year ineligible gained their eligibility

The JV/Freshman football team lost their first game of the year with a 48-24 defeat to the Quinlan Ford Panthers. The team is off to a 3-1 start with district play beginning next Thursday vs Benbrook at Benbrook.
