Today was the Regional Cross Meet. Michelle Gutierrez qualified for the meet for the first time in her high school career. She ran a personal best and is determined next season as a senior to qualify for State. Michelle worked very hard this season and ran 45 seconds faster than her personal best. She is excited and is interested in running in college. 

Michelle Gutierrez will represent Western Hills in the Region II 4-A Cross Country Meet on Tuesday Oct. 24, 2023. She will run at Lynn Creek Park. 

The 9-4A District Cross Country meet was held today and Varsity member Michelle Gutierrez has Qualified for the 4A Regional Cross Country Meet.  Next week we are running at Lynn Creek Park. 

The boys and girls have finished their 2023 season and are looking forward to track season. 

The Western Hills CC Team competed at the Paschal Invitational Meet this weekend.  We were running against mostly 5/6A runners like South Lake, Paschal, Arlington Heights, as well as good private schools. All in all, we saw it as another day to keep improving. We are working hard to decrease our time as District is coming up on Oct. 13th.

The Western Hills Cougars competed in the Castleberry XC Meet on Friday. It was a hot morning, but they got it done and competed well.
