I am a firm believer that every athlete deserves an athletic trainer. I chose to pursue a career in sports medicine because I suffered a career-ending knee injury as an athlete and felt very alone and isolated when I was no longer able to participate in the sport I had loved for so long. Physical therapy was my original plan, but I was captivated by the relationships I saw between athletic trainers and their student-athletes. I love having the opportunity to walk alongside my student-athletes on their best days and their worst days; their highest of highs and lowest of lows.
