Mission Statement

The mission of the Fort Worth Independent School District Athletic Department is to develop and maintain a quality athletic program as an integral part of the educational process that strives for excellence while promoting competency, good citizenship, equitable opportunities, positive recognition and sportsmanship in a competitive environment. 

The mission of the Western Hills Athletic Training staff is to provide high-level accessible health care to the student-athlete population of Western Hills high school. We are committed to providing care in accordance with the most recent evidence-based practices and current gold standards. This care falls into five distinct domains:

Prevention of Athletic Injuries

Recognition, Evaluation, and Immediate Care of Athletic Injuries

Rehabilitation and Reconditioning of Athletic Injuries

Health Care Administration

Professional Development and Responsibility

We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our student-athletes, mentally and physically, takes precedence over all else.

Enter the parking lot from Bangor Drive. Park near the Field House next to the light post in the parking lot.  The Athletic Training Facility is the portable (marked with a sign on the parking lot side) across from the entrance to the field.  Enter the door (Room 311) up the steps.
