2019 Results

We had 19 students compete in 41 different events this past Saturday at our District 9-4A UIL Academic Meet. They did a great job!  

We have 2 young ladies moving on to the regional meet April 12-13, Jenna Mullender and Reese Smythe. Jenna will be competing in 3 events, Ready Writing, Headline Writing, and Literary Criticism. Reese will be competing in Feature Writing. Special shout out to Mr Sanks and Ms Clark for their work with these young ladies. 

All of our coaches are amazing and have put in countless hour of preparation with all their students...Mr Gil, Mr Cook, Mr Bell, Mr Naqvi, Ms Maas, Mr Sanks, and Ms Clark. Also, I'd like to thank all the faculty and administration for your support of our UIL Academic program. We couldn't do any of this without you! With that being said, if you know of additional students that stand out to you in any of these areas, please send them our way. We are always looking to share our love of academic competition with others. (The kids that go on to compete at regionals earn their LETTERMAN!!!! Just by using their brain!)
