I believe that all students can learn and are capable of doing anything as long as they believe in themselves and have some love and support coming from home. One of the greatest joys I get in life is shaking the hands of our graduates as they cross the stage and recalling the process of them getting to that point. Having that opportunity for a lot of our graduates, especially those that struggle at times going through school is what keeps me coming back each and every day. I believe that we all, teachers, staff and parents must work together to ignite in every student, the passion to learn and to reach beyond the walls of WHHS to continue to learn.

Personal Information:
* Married to Stephanie & have one son, Franklin Payne
* Grew up in Kenova, WV (pop. 2000), w/2 brothers and 2 sisters
* Avid golfer & follow Marshall University.
